The Dean Forest Railway is one of the most scenic of Britain's preserved lines with steam locomotives operating on a regular basis. The author embarks on a fascinating photographic tour of the railway, as it was and as it is today, taking us from the main line at Lydney Junction to Norchard, Parkend and beyond. The associated closed lines are also included, many now cycle tracks or footpaths.
